It was a perfect night- mild breeze, comfortable temperature, not much in the way of Mosquito (autocorrect, why did you capitalize that?!?). We carpooled with my parents and parked in a neighborhood surrounding the park where the best viewing is. After hoofing it a few blocks and staking out a lovely spot near the baseball diamonds and on a slight hillside, we relaxed and played for about an hour before the scheduled start time - 10:15 p.m.
But at 10:15 on the nose, the show began! It lasted about 30 minutes and even had a double finale! Touché to all those people who hopped in their cars and blinded us with their lights in an effort to beat the crowds!
Our brave little girl fared really well! She was entranced by the sights and sounds! Well, for the first ten minutes at least...
Oh well! At least she was easy to put down tonight!
