The Only Screamer

Last year, we witnessed an unfortunate situation unfold at the Prairie Dog exhibit at the Detroit Zoo (read about it here). Today, we sought to overcome that awful situation and have a great experience at the zoo! I am happy to report that the only screamer this year was our own child - and those screams were only screams of sheer joy as she discovered each and every animal all over again!

It was also fun to take pictures of Claire in various places where we remembered taking them last year to see how she's grown. She's taller; her hair is longer and more full; she was more confident. It's so much fun to watch her grow.
