I wish I MAY...

What a great month May was! Claire "survived" her first full month without any major catastrophes - as did Mommy & Papa! Haha! This was a month of getting used to early morning feedings, unconsolable crying (on Claire's part), unconsolable frustration (on our part), and way more fun and love than we ever imagined!

Here is just a "brief" look at our a-MAY-zing month of May!  (And check out our other post with a-MAY-zing in the title to see the fabulous photos of 4-week-old Claire, taken by Amber Harker!)

Claire hated baths initially...

...but she loved getting to know Nola!

She tried out Mommy's bassinet
at Gramma & Grampa's house...

...and was prepared for Derby Day!

We looked to see how she measured
up to Daddy...

...and then how she fit in the toy cradle
Great-Grandpa Stulz built a few years ago,
anticipating the arrival of a little one
in the near future! (Good thing we had
Claire, or he would have had to put wheels on!)

Claire got to meet Dr. McFarland,
who delivered her on April 25th!

She also is practicing her
snorkling skills for trips to
Florida in the future!

Claire loves to "read" books!

Gramma & Claire had a special time
with Great-Aunt Linda, who came down
with Amber from Traverse City!

She also went to her 1st bridal shower!
Congrats Liz & Brad!

Momma made a goofy hat on her
1 month birthday!

And we traveled to Kentwood for Momma's
cousin Alan's high school graduation party!
Claire loved meeting her Great-Aunt Connie
and Great-Uncle Tom!

And we certainly didn't deprive Claire
of sleep or quality time with Momma
or Papa!!!
