Continuing the Kostun Library Tradition

We've had a few requests for what books we already have for Baby K, so we decided to do an inventory.  Wow!  Looks like Daddy has already had an influence on Baby K!  Now here's the deal: some of these are from our own childhood collections, and some have been picked up over the past few years when found because they seem to be hard to find!  Only seven, we think, have been purchased since Baby K's existence!

So, without further adieu, we present "Baby K's Library" as of December 6, 2010:
  • The Little Prince/Le Petit Prince (purchased in France in 2000!)
  • Little Miss Sunshine and Little Miss Giggles (because we were children of the 80's)
  • Jack and Jill; Hey, Diddle, Diddle; Pat-a-Cake; Goosey Goosey Gander (recent aquistions from the Target $1 section!)
  • Little Golden Books (always awesome!): Baby's First Book; Baby Farm Animals; My First Counting Book; Bambi
  • Tuck Everlasting (one of Erin's favorites growing up)
  • James and the Giant Peach
  • The Redwall Series (again, Erin loved these as a teenager!  There are a number missing in the collection, though): Redwall; Mariel of Redwall; Martin the Warrior; The Bellmaker; The Outcast of Redwall; Pearls of Lutra; The Long Patrol; Marlfox; Lord Brocktree; Loamhedge; Rakkety Tam
  • The World of Pooh
  • The Wonderful Wizard of Oz - a Giant Popup Book
  • Sea Stories - a collection of short stories
  • Caps for Sale
  • Make Way for Ducklings
  • Thumbelina
  • The Giving Tree
  • Oh, The Places You'll Go
  • The Runaway Bunny (classic in the Wysocki house!)
  • Katy and the Big Snow (ditto!)
  • Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel (ditto again!)
  • The Little House (by Burton; another must-read growing up Wysocki)
  • Rainbow Fish
  • and finally, Goodnight Moon (read almost nightly by Erin & her mom!)
